At Harpers we believe that taking care of yourself isn’t self-indulgence, it’s self-preservation.
Harpers Salon has been recognized recently for over 50 years in business. The salon was opened for the first time in 1949.
Harpers Salon is a Full Service Salon, owned and operated by Cherie Greenberg, Master Stylist. Cherie purchased the business on March 1, 2009. Cherie is a native of Delaware and has lived and worked in Raleigh, NC and Philadelphia, PA. She has trained in Dallas at the TIGI Academy for advanced hair cutting as well as Bumble and Bumble in NYC where she received a instructors certificate. Cherie has also trained with Wella and Logics hair color. She continues to attend continuing education classes in the latest trends and styles as well as educate junior staff. In July, Cherie participated in a model shoot in Atlanta, GA. Photos of models have been published by numerous Hairstyling magazines across the country and are available for viewing on the website.
Harpers has been in Hairstyles magazine. Also, Harpers has been featured in “Portico” magazine’s wedding issue. Cherie and Valerie Storey were responsible for the bridal hair and makeup over a four page fashion photo shoot.
The Salon has been renovated and updated and is now a practicing “Green Salon”. Harpers carries two lines of hair care products, PUREOLOGY, an organic hair care line and the MORROCAN OIL line which is being talked about in fashion magazines and on TV. Harpers recycles used containers and does whatever it can to promote a healthy planet.
